By Eva Sunshine

They stole my heart, I claim it back

for my fierce come back

saving face with distant grace

rise out of misfortune

I’m ready to fight

not ready to die

fight hate and confusion

fight illusion and destitution

wasted away this revolution in revolving doors of institution

with devotion and no compliments

resilient passions put an end to twisted regrets

put me to the test

I’m no longer defenseless

dissolving consuming self-interest

you see the light in my wonderfully crazy mind

there’s more light inside

we claim our throne,

no longer dwell on broken freedom

dear love of mine, my pain was much too kind

until no end

sweetest  love will win again
